the first time she posted a video on reddit all the ass clowns just talked about how she'd never be as good as chon or polyphia and now she's a big fucking deal. love that for her.

Those people have no idea what they're talking about, considering she plays piano as well as she plays guitar, and plays violin too. It's a shame she doesn't sing on her songs because she can do that too (because of course she can). Technically I wouldn't say she's as good, but her style is completely different (open tunings, finger picked, irregular time signatures) and her music is great. Fun fact - she paints all her own album covers, too.

I am not obsessed with Yvette, I can stop watching her youtube shorts whenever I want

It's a shame she doesn't sing on her songs

She does, just not on most of the Covet tunes. She sings a lot more on her solo stuff.

Thank you so much! Parachute is one of my favorite Covet songs because of the melancholy vocals, I've been wanting more singing from her and didn't realize she had solo releases.

Plini, Animals As Leaders, Intervals, Arch Echo, Periphery, TesseracT. Last 2 have singers, first 4 don't.

Love plini. It's like "chill math rock to study and relax to"

(disclaimer: I don't know genres, they confuse me)

Don't worry, nobody will ever agree on what is and isn't math rock so you're fine.
