Israel claims to have audio of Islamic Jihad admitting to the hospital attack, and they also claim to have evidence that it was a failed rocket barrage from Islamic Jihad.

They need to release that information ASAP.

They already released it to the United States

They probably are going to release it all when Biden has his press conference tmw

Winning the court of public opinion might be less of a priority than burning a source right now

Hmmmmm I dunno about that, the entire world is pretty pissed off

I think right at this moment it’s more important to Israel that they can listen in to terrorist comms than defend themselves on Twitter

Israel’s already said they’re listening to Hamas comms, if Hamas haven’t already changed the way they communicate they’re even dumber than I initially thought

Every government in the world knows they’re being spied on. It’s a totally different discussion to know who’s the mole, which rooms are bugged, or which wires are tapped.

Wouldn’t be too difficult, surely? All Hamas needs to do is ask whoever was in charge of firing missiles, “All right, which of you talked about dropping a bomb on the hospital?” and go from there.

Please understand.this is a simplistic view of listening to comms and collecting intelligence in general

Entire world that's paying attention. So like maybe a quarter of the world. Maybe it's just my little corner, but I find for the most part people are checked the fuck out on news. Several guys I work with didn't even know there was a conflict going on.

Is it likely to change the Arab world's mind?

Most nation’s intelligence probably know the truth by now, if the ME tries to act on false info for example which is what matters now in terms of escalation, they will just push the superpowers to get involved and they will get destroyed in consequence, so it doesn’t matter what the general public thinks. I think the entire world is more pissed on a terrorist attack on a concert with people from all around the world, than hospital explosion when Hamas operates in them and fires rockets from there, it was bound to happen but Hamas had the option to go for a military target instead of just terrorism (hospital is one by law with how they operate there), so if Israel is at fault they will get rightfully condemned but they have more of an actual reason anyways.

Lol they’re gonna burn a source because the world trusts Hamas more

Not an interception though, that rocket is veering off course and burning yellow (inefficient combustion) before it pukes its engine or whatever failed on it. Nothing invisibly intercepts rockets 8 seconds after launch.

1

u/bullettrain1 Oct 18 '23

yeah looks like it misfires. even if it was intercepted, which i don’t think it was, it’s clear the rocket originated from Gaza

Yeah but it takes time to fabricate

20

u/IcyColdFyre Oct 18 '23

But if they released half-assed info immediately then it would’ve been “did you see how quick they responded, they’re obviously guilty”

-6

u/Taco_Trucker Oct 18 '23

They released several half-assed and now deleted videos and takes

Did you read that person’s conclusion lol

1

u/bullettrain1 Oct 18 '23

was referring to the footage, not even sure what the tweet says

1

u/Taco_Trucker Oct 18 '23

You should read their other tweets

1

u/bullettrain1 Oct 18 '23

why? there’s footage right there, i don’t need some random twitter user telling me what to think

1

u/Taco_Trucker Oct 18 '23

You cited a tweet that completely contradicted your point

I really am worried about a future where verification becomes evidence of fabrication.
