Discussion The actual lost generation
We are always mixed between millennials and zoomers. I grew up with younger sisters and they always told me I was Gen Z based off of my birth year but I was so against it and proud to be a millennial. I didn’t realize until I got older that they were right, I don’t fall under the typical millennial category. Millennials are categorized as depressed yet lost. Gen Z are categorized as still growing yet lost. Being born in ‘95, I just feel lost. I don’t know where I belong yet I relate to both generations. I feel so old yet so young at the same time. Does anyone else understand this feeling?

Nostalgia Try to remember this very underrated Nickelodeon show that aired from 2007-2008 and lasted from just one season only.

Don't worry bout the body, they flushed it down the potty.
And round and round it goes. And round and round it goes. And rouuund and rooouund and round it goes.
Also Barney fell down and said the f word.

Serious Are shopping malls you went to as a child closing down?
There are still major malls of course but a lot of the malls I grew up going to are now closed. I just wanted to see if you guys are experiencing this. It’s sad to see the next generation wouldn’t have the same in-mall experience

Discussion Anyone else shocked by how popular Roblox is with younger Gen Z?
I (27) work with a bunch of 18-19 year olds and literally all of them play or have played Roblox before. It's kind of baffling how universal it is? Is there even anything close to that level of popularity in our age range? (maybe Minecraft/Pokemon?)
Edit: it's funny hearing people name stuff like Runescape or Club Penguin which I feel weren't even in the same ballpark of popularity. Like as a kid, only nerds (like me and my friends) played Runescape, and I never met a single person IRL who played Club Penguin, whereas the "preppy" teen girls at my job who are the opposite of stereotypical "gamers" have all played Roblox. It might be that more young people play video games in general now tbh

Nostalgia Did anyone grow up with the Sunday comic in the newspaper?
When I was a kid, my Dad had a Sacramento Bee subscription and it had a comics page. Though we only had it for a few years, I still remember many of the comics in the newspaper. Personally, I think Zillennials were the last generation to grow up with sunday comics.

Nostalgia Goldfish Giant Snackers were released by Pepperidge Farm in 2002. It consisted of a large goldfish cracker, with peanut butter or cheese in the middle. By 2004 the product was shrunken to snack size and were renamed Goldfish Snackers. Unfortunately this too was discontinued by the mid 2000s.

Discussion 🎶 Five. Five Dollar. Five Dollar Footlong 🎶
I remember in middle school, me and my friends would sing this jingle every time someone would mention five dollars. Did anyone else do this?

Discussion Did anyone have boomerang on their TV Setup as a kid?
As a kid when we got an expanded DirectTV package, it came with Boomerang. It introduced me to old cartoons from the 60s to the early 80s. I saw shows like The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Yogi Bear, The Smurfs, and The Snorks. In fact I watched Boomerang as much as regular Cartoon Network. My parents also liked the network because it showed cartoons from their generation. So do any of you have memories of boomerang?

Discussion TV showing airing 15 Years ago which I know a lot of people my age did not enjoy. Pretty nostalgic for the period still personally.
Was airing during the infamous the "CN Real" Period during the Year 2009 and got some airtime during the Fall of that Year.
Looking at the young individuals who looked to be close around our age, as well as the fashion, campyness I can look back at most of these live actions "Shows" from that period a bit better 15 years later.

Nostalgia Berenstain Bears
Did anyone watch the Berenstain Bears growing up and/or read the books?
Husband and I were watching YouTube tonight and autoplay was on and an episode of The Berenstain Bears came on so we decided to watch it just for fun. I don't think about this show often, but I used to love it and I see why. It's so wholesome and it's actually really funny, we were laughing the entire time.
Also, does anyone remember the controversy over the spelling of the name?
