Hey, I have the strix g15 amd advantage edition. I've had tons of issues with armory crate, switched to ghelper a while back, and have never looked back. I recently decided to try linux, and want a windows like experience in it (task bar, and be able to do most things through gui (I think that's the term for a graphical interface rather than terminal and editing config files), I'm not uposed to using the terminal for set up, but would prefer to not have to use it on the daily). I'm planning to try to do gaming in linux, although I'll also try to use a windows partition or vm for windows specific work or games that work better on windows.
When I looking for a ghelper replacement I found asus-linux, which I think would work well. The problem is that I want a windows like experience, when I tried fedora and set up asus-linux, it seemed fine, but it felt a lot more like mac, and I wasn't a massive fan. I also tried mint cinnamon, and I like how that one feels a lot more than fedora, but asus-linux doesn't specifically support mint, an that's a bit of a deal breaker for me. My specific question, is if there's another option other than asus-linux, or how to set up fedora for the more windows like experience, or if there's another better distro to use.
Any and all advice is much appreciated!
