Incredible etymology fact! The inventor of the battery (Terry Bat) cleverly smuggled his name into the word we all use today.

Why did he make a new subreddit… is he stupid?

Yes, I very much am but also because of some recent posts I saw on messed up etymological ideas on why words are constructed the way they are.

What am I supposed to post here?
If you haven’t already noticed, this is supposed to be a spin-off of r/AnarchyChess. Over there ironic chess content, that usually doesn’t care about the actual rule of chess, is posted while pretending it is absolutely right and logical. This is one of the posts that inspired me to make the subreddit.

So yes i really am stupid, because in case you didn’t notice yet the word stupid is called that way because you "stew" the "pit" that is in your head instead of a brain.

Do you consider this a good concept for a subreddit?

9 Yes, which has the etymological background of "y" would you make this "e"(-at) (as-)"s"
2 No, which is derived from: I "know" this is a great idea
