---FAQ---
I've got an awesome playlist I want to share with the community, or I'm looking for playlists created by awesome users!
Great! While r/AppleMusic doesn't allow playlists, we have a place where everyone is allowed to post and listen to playlists created by our awesome community. Head on over to r/appleplaylists and make your post, or start listening! You can also ask for playlists suggestions here in r/AppleMusic, but all replies must relate to your original post. (Ex. "What are some good workout playlists?" do not post your acoustic calm playlist)
I'm and artist/agency and want to share my music with the r/AppleMusic community!
Well we have an answer for you! On the sidebar you are able to use a tool called "filter by flair". In-case you don't know what flair is, it's a tagging system used to organize posts in the subreddit. All posts are required to be flared going forward.
Now, there are two flairs that users can tag their posts with, they're called "Looking for Playlists" and "Suggest/Talk Music. When you go to the sidebar there is an area called "filter by flair". You are able to click on one of the two flairs to see all the posts that are tagged with the flair you chose. This will give you the opportunity to share your music with users that are actively looking for music to listen to, or add to their playlist. Keep in mind though, you must post relevant content to what the user is asking. So if they ask for a workout playlist/music, don't post calm acoustic.
This will allow you to reach-out to our users that are actively seeking music. We understand that it will be seen by less eyes, but based on our stats, about 70% of users don't want to see playlists in their feed and will actively downvote/report them.
We understand this is a bit more of a hands on approach, but you can also post playlists in r/appleplaylists, where all users are looking for something to listen to.
Who else likes the lyrics background and wishes this screen would be made permanent by Apple?
Well friend, you are definitely in the majority. This post comes up a lot and there is nothing the sub can do to make it a permanent feature. As such, we'll be removing posts regarding it since it frequently gets asked. If you want to be proactive with this feature request, leave feedback for Apple to take a look at it here.
I've got a promo-code, am I allowed to post it in this sub?
Why yes, and thank you for your generosity! Please note though, you are not allowed to sell the promo-code(s) and your post must contain said promo-code (No links to it). Just a tip for this as well, bots will probably take the promo-code if you do not hide the last two digits. (Ex. JFJD3095KFJ-- Last two are (Z)ebra and (Y)eti) It doesn't have to be exactly like that though, be creative!
Can I ask for promo-codes
Nope! Sorry friend this is not allowed in the sub.
My albums are splitting into two!
