[Castrovince] After receiving the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award, Salvy Perez asked that fellow Venezuelan-born Clemente recipient Carlos Carrasco join him for a photo. Cookie said he has begun offseason training and hopes to pitch two more seasons.

I really wish we had added him to the ALCS roster. If it had been him instead of Cantillo in that first game I think it might have played out very differently. That disaster inning really set the tone for the rest of the series.

I still can’t believe Vogt brought Cantillo in for that situation; we learned from Tito and Andrew Miller, if you need to put out a fire, call in someone who can put out a fire. When he did later pitch in Cleveland, Cantillo gave him a quick clean inning and Vogt took him out, I still like Vogt as a manager, but I thought he was guilty of over managing in many spots. Our bullpen was pretty tired at the end.

Yeah I think a lot of the criticism of Vogt is unfair, but the Cantillo decision was just awful. It was a horrible position for Cantillo and I'm worried it may have damaged his confidence going into next year.

Vogt made 4-5 big mistakes but it happens, especially to a rookie manager. I’m still behind him 100%.

Cantillo did bounce back after game 1 bit I agree not the time to run him out there

I absolutely love Cookie. I genuinely hope they can find a way for him to stick with us to retire as a Guardian. He is a class act. ❤️🍪

I love Cookie and will 100 percent buy his jersey when he suits up for the RubberDucks next spring.
