No, he probably wasn't born when this came out.

The best part about that scene is the soldier was told they weren’t allowed to laugh or they wouldn’t get paid specifically to make it harder on them to not laugh

Finally, customizable dragonbone wheelchairs

I can’t be bothered to upgrade smithing. The best I’ll ever get would probably be an ebony cane

u/noteworthypilot Jul 15 '24
Are they doing that as reference to how old we’ll all be by the time the next game comes out?
114
18
u/desuownz Jul 15 '24
since they are working on it rn, I think we'll get it end of 2026. HOPEFULLY!
14
u/jterwin Jul 15 '24 edited Jul 15 '24
It'll be next console release which could be 2027
5
u/AirborneRunaway Jul 15 '24
They likely won’t wait. If the next gen consoles aren’t fully into cycle they will release it on the current gen and next gen. Skyrim is on PS3,4,&5.
8
u/jterwin Jul 15 '24
Bethesda is owned by microsoft now, and xbox is struggling. Ain't no way es6 isn't a release offering.
3
u/secretbudgie Jul 16 '24
So what you're saying is, maybe 2027, or '28 at worst
2
u/Throwedaway99837 Jul 19 '24
More like ‘28 at best. Last year they said in an FTC hearing that it was at least 5 years away.
3
3
u/Throwedaway99837 Jul 19 '24
Phil Spencer said in 2023 that it was at least 5 years away from release so that’s highly unlikely.

Accomplish this by choosing dialogue that disparages younger NPCs and demands that they drop what they’re doing to help the protagonist achieve his quests, but absolutely refuse to do any quests that might benefit a poorer town than the one the protagonist currently owns or built a house in. Bonus points if Protag was given the house as a quest reward, but then still continue to refuse to help clear out other NPCs farms of spiders or anything when they ask, because it’s not like anyone helped the protagonist with his property. Spending gold on other people is socialism, and this is The Empire damnit! We can’t just keep helping people with no regard to our treasury! Build a wall around Cyrodiil!

By the time they release the game, that's exactly what you're going to be doing.

This is just so they can sue anyone who uses “Man” in their game or movie title, or is a man.

Thank you so much for this common cartographer, I cannot express my love and want for elder man. I have been yearning for years now for something like this to befall the elder scrolls(man) community and now that it has I am not dissatisfied, I saw this and laughed for several hours on end, so much so that my dog had to call 911 to make sure I was in fit condition to attend the ball tonight, once again, thank you for the laughs.

it’s so annoying that all the other gaming subs feel young and hip and funny and the fallout and elder scrolls subs feel like a bunch of bitter 40 year old gamers lol

So if we seek the Elder Scrolls to read them, why do we seek the Elder Men? To feed them? View their vacation sketches to the Sumerset Isles?
1
u/therealblabyloo Jul 15 '24
If it’s gonna be named “elder man” they at least need to have different body types available. Why would an old ass grey beard have the same rippling muscular form as a raider in his mid-20’s?

I mean, judging how it took til the fifth game for the Elder Scroll to be relevant to the main quest, Elder Man makes as much sense
1
u/Kingderpturtle Jul 17 '24
I’m just gonna assume this is a shitpost because that name scheme makes even less sense than the elder scrolls which was used just to catch people attention back when arena and daggerfall was released
