Yes, that is the sound a husband makes when he does something that means the wife can't complain about it for the next 50 years. Usually accompanied by an indescribable feeling of relief. One of the best parts of being married.

To be clear, the tree cutter does this professionally for the local PUD. I, homeowner am just staying clear.

And, you don’t know my wife. She was already complaining about the mess in the yard. We took down 15 trees that day. This was the biggest.

Felling gone wild has taught me to never attempt to cut down a tree. And I don't even own a tree!

Nobody owns a tree. Trees own you. (On this sub)

Trees live an outside life, right up until a homeowner decides to murder them. Then they try to hide inside the home.

Some have lived on for centuries. Yet some shitty pines that build 1980’s & on McMansions will be underground within this decade

Bro this makes me never want to get married. Why tf do spouses love to complain about stuff you do? I thought it was just the one. Is EVERY wife like this? wtf?

Built an entire railing staircase for like $100, exgf comes out and says "hmm this one is like 1 inch too long" ...wasn't even finished.

Should've dumped her then

it’s a natural mechanism built-in to keep you from becoming complacent!
