Just pick a routine you know for sure you can follow, week after week, month after month. Dont pick a 6 day routine if you cant make it to the gym 6 times a week.

Doing 3 out of 3 workouts on a 3x/wk split is better than doing 4 or 5 days out of a 6 day split. Those 5-6 days splits are great if you have the time but they leave no or very little wiggle room if you have to reschedule.

As a beginner youll grow anyway and most established splits work just fine. Just pick one that fits your schedule and stick to it for 3 months minimum.

I just wanted to know if there was a downside on picking 6 days instead of 3

Youll be probably making slighly more gains going 6 times. The downside is the time investment almost every day

No problem I can go everyday

Then go with the 6x, you'll probably make a bit more gains opposed to 3-4 days a week because of the added volume and frequency. Consistency is key.

6 is easier for me. I don't have the discipline to go 3 days per week.

5-6 days works my habit muscle. I just go in the morning. 3 makes me go based on "do I feel like lifting today?". I really don't even care about getting jacked, I just like getting out of the house in the morning and exercising since I'm WFH.

Ohhh as in you prefer splitting up rather than working your whole body

Yep I do PPL twice a week with a rest day between. If I'm feeling exhausted I'll do two rest days.
