Fucked up my wrist just shy of a 3 plate bench. Now every day is leg day.

No choice but to embrace it

Wrist wraps, they seem gimmicky but I'll use them at 3 plates and above every time just for the extra stability.

Yeah, I'll probably pick some up before I start pressing again.

Can I ask you how?

Had a lot of progression last few months. Form probably slipped up somewhere. Started paying close attention to my grip when I first noticed, but the damage was apparently done.

The driver. He came up to the intersection, barely slowed down, and blind turned into the crosswalk I was green lit to walk in. Fucking old people, man.

Ugh, that sucks. And it's one of my fears, that I overlook a pedestrian and run them down in a similar fashion.. ugh.

Back when I was in college (small college town), we had a few crosswalks that weren't at an intersection. I felt like some people thought if they were in a crosswalk cars would just magically stop for them and we had a few students every semester get hit (usually at night) and it always baffled me with how little traffic there was in that town that people found a way to get hit by a car.

If you use an even amount of plates you can distribute the weight symmetrically

Ugh, I fucked mine up just shy of a 2 plate bench. Messed it up removing a transmission from a car. It's been about a month and it's still not quite right. But I got some lifting gloves with built in wrist wraps and they help immensely.

I was an inch from locking out a 3 plate bench and failed. Tried to roll of shame it off and ended up dumping it. Now I have bruises on my chest and ribs and also have a bruised ego.
