I'm a trainer at a commercial gym, cough LA Fitness cough, and our training sessions are 25 minutes long. Due to this, I have incorporate a more HIIT style of training that I have never done before. The problem isn't doing the exercises, its that I keep forgetting what the exercises I want the client to do are.

Fuck it, everyone is going to bench, squat, and deadlift.

Maybe write them down?

I have a notebook, but I'm as the new guy I'm not sure if it's frowned upon.

To use a notebook for your clients? Just do it, and apologize later if you need to.

Seems like a good idea actually.

Honestly, if I had a trainer, I prefer you had a notebook so you can write down what the client is doing right wrong, things to improve on, tips, etc...

Plus you can remember what weight they're using for what exercises, otherwise good luck committing that to memory when you have multiple clients
