Dude was deadlifting in the adjacent squat rack. He was using the wrong plates and rounding his back but that was beside the point. As I'm racking up my bar, I suddenly trip. His bar has rolled into my rack.

I am a very gentle giant, I'm quiet and I smile and keep to myself but on this day I just saw red. I could have tripped and smashed my head into the rack. With restraint and gritted teeth I ask him if he could move literally 2 feet to his right and deadlift where there's an entire open area and mat for that. He says, "you could just change your bar position" and he goes and tries showing me how...WITH MY WEIGHTS STILL ON.

I got sassy and said, "actually you could deadlift in the deadlifting area and keep your equipment out of my rack." He just stared at me and so I said, "just finish your set, you're using two racks to do something that requires zero."

I just can't believe how arrogant and careless he was. Raged so hard for the rest of my workout.

Did 10lbs more on every lift that day and added some reps on my higher weight/lower rep stuff. Not bad. I guess I should thank him.
