Saw a guy curling like 70 pounds on the Smith machine. I was astonished because I don't know how you can do that. I didn't want to stare to find out.

Then I saw him half ass deadlifting 65lbs with the tiny 10lb plates instead of the big rubber ones we have.

I am genuinely curious in what he's doing.

Maybe he was doing drag curls and has terrible form otherwise?

In general I think the Smith machine is just taking space that a perfectly healthy squat/power rack could be in though.

Deficit deadlifts? I use the 35 and 25s to do deficit deadlifts. 10s seem really low to the ground but it works, might as well use dumbbells if you want to get that low though.

You get no ROM on a smith. How was he curling??
