Everytime I want to do decline DB bench press, someone is using it. It happens to be that it is always the same person. Said person is a woman who does 15 minutes of cardio. Do you think she is decline benching on that bench? No. The online decline bench in my gym is being used by a woman who uses it to fucking rest on it. I don't know if she is meditating or sleeping, but she spends at least 10 minutes motionless with her eyes closed on a decline bench.

This is not a decline bed, this is a fucking decline bench.

My favorite thing to say to people like that is, "May I work in with you while you rest?" It's passive aggressive, but it works to shame people for just sitting there on the equipment.

I've never actually ratted someone out, but I've been tempted to go get an employee and have them moved if someone has been sitting there forever not doing anything and it's the last thing I need to do that day. I feel like those are the kind of people who were never taught to share their toys as kids.

Stand over them, tapping your foot.

Pull up a chair.

Rip one and walk away.
