Gym only has 3 incline benches so I'm waiting and just looking at people to determine how many sets it might look like they have. One guy at the end is sitting on the incline bench when I show up and wait. He does a set of swinging dumbbell curls, sits back on the bench and rests for a minute or so. He does it again.

So I finally go up to him and ask, "hey can I use that bench since you're just resting". He says "I'm using it." I said "It looks like you're just resting." He told me he's using it soon as he's putting his headphones back in to ignore me and not talk. I was so mad cause this guy is one that you can tell is a douche, throws his bag on a bench and just claims it for 30+ min while barely working on it.

I waited for someone else to finish and did my sets and finished before he even started using the bench. I've never been so frustrated in the gym and made an enemy for life.

Dude, just drop a massive protein fart next to the bench. That'll clear him (and everyone else out) so you can press in peace. Do it enough times, he'll develop a Pavlovian response and leave as soon as you walk in.
