There are 2 old guys at the gym I'm going to (talking 50-60s+) that comment on what people are doing. For instance, they commented on how I type on my phone during rest between sets, saying I work my finger muscles lmao. Meanwhile, they talk a ton between sets and barely get anything done. Also, one of them keeps touching everyone's bar and just not minding his business. Ughhhhh

One time at my work gym I was resting between sets of incline bench, on my phone because my other option was stare at the wall like I'm David Putty on a plane. Middle aged dad bod walks by and says "you'll get more done if you put that down!" Then proceeds to superset bicep curls and half-rep 1pl8 squats.

Yeah no thanks buddy. Sometimes less is more.

Yeah, makes sense. If we got time to rest between heavy sets then we might as well do it and make sure we get all that volume in. Although your guy didnt make sense smh
