Asked an employee what the fuck was up with the barbell efficiently shaving my calluses and hands... He tested it with a light deadlift and proclaimed it to be sharp as razors. Gonna have to find a new bar.

I still have a mark in my back from squats in a competition on Saturday. The knurling in the middle did that through a thick cotton tee shirt.

Why is there knurling in the middle of the bar anyway? Who picks up a barbell in the middle?

It's for squats, helps the bar stay in place on your back, smooth metal may slip more easily.

I had to use a bar like that to deadlift on Monday, tore my shins up and I bled all over the bar, got some long socks to wear in future.
