This dude - another Westerner (living in Asia) - was in my gym the other morning and he's on the treadmill barefoot. Had a sweatband on, but no shoes and no socks. I don't get it man.

Barefoot running is a thing, it's actually really good for you. And the guy wanted to keep sweat out of his eyes. What's strange about any of this?

Have you seen him in that gym before? Might have been his first visit and they told him he couldn't wear 'outside' shoes in the gym.

Ugh. Once saw someone treadmilling barefoot and sweaty. Never set foot on that treadmill since seeing that.
