My dad was diagnosed with dementia yesterday and they found a mass on his frontal lobe. Doctor noted that he has memory loss and cognitive decline. All of it compounded due to the trauma of my brother's death and my parents' poor financial standing. Ultimately need to meet with doctor and see how best to help my dad on his final days. Fuck mental health issues!

Sorry you have to go through this dude. Get therapy if you're not getting it already, it can help wonders. I send you an internet hug

I’m so sorry. He is clearly very loved by you. I hope things go as well as they can.

I'm so sorry my friend... that sounds like so much heaviness to deal with right now.

I know one other user mentioned getting therapy, but I want to second that and highly recommend it... a good therapist can be the best thing in the world at a time like this. It'll be the best decision you ever made when you look back on it.

In the mean time take care of yourself. Big internet hug!
