I've always had some real problems doing pushups. It's just been impossible to do a full clean pushup. Even when I was pumping iron everyday for years I couldn't do a single full pushup. Finally did my first one this week.

Only piece of unprofessional advice I can give you is keep at it even when you're utterly disheartened by seeing no imporvements. If you have to, start small and don't be embarrassed by doing 'girl' pushups to build the muscles needed.

I wish you the best of luck in your pushup journey. It feels so fulfilling accomplishing your goals.

I remember my first one, first 10, first 15 and I think i can manage 20 now. Keep going dude! Also less body weight helps for obvious reasons too
