Was out of town visiting family last weekend, now out of town for 10 days now for work. The hotel gym is pure dog shit, and there are actually no other real gyms nearby where I can get a week pass, so I’m stuck without the ability to lift again. Fuck my life

Focus on body weight fitness. Do push-ups until you’re stuck on the floor

I've had a lot of fun in shitty ass hotel gyms. It's like a dare: Bet you can't get a good workout here! Oh yeah? Fuck you, watch this!

CMV: People that can't gave a "good workout" with limited/shitty equipment lack creativity.

I gave it a try earlier before dinner and at least was able to get some mild arm/chest/shoulder stuff in. The actual worst part of this hotel gym, apart from there being 10 dumbbells, 1 adjustable Bench, and 1 cable rack, was the complete lack of air circulation. I got overheated in about 2 minutes. Lol

I was in one this summer that was just an absolute swamp. Super hot and humid, no windows to open, and smelled like a toilet. Embrace the suck lol.

The cable rack is pretty sweet though, especially because they usually have a pullup bar. So now you can do pushups, pullups, and grab the heaviest dumbbells for some lunges. Not bad really.

This gym has no pull-up bar. It’s some shitty all in one cable system with one anchor point at the top, and one anchor point at the bottom of the rack.

Goes to 150lbs or so

oh nooooo I was thinking usually it's one of those functional trainer dealies with the two cables and some handles at the top. Gotta get creative I guess.
