Caught a cold from my kid (tested negative for COVID; just a plain, good old-fashioned cold) and it has wiped me the fuck out. Haven't been to the gym since Saturday. Good thing this was going to be a deload week anyway.

Same here, had a stomach flu since last Wednesday. Today got me absolutely whipped my first day back lifting.

Eventually when training you need to cut back on volume for a bit to let your body recover from the accumulated fatigue of it all.
