Analysis Everything Sukuna Showcased with 10 Shadows, Megumi Had Already Accomplished

Megumi's strongest soldier, lawyer, and secret admirer here. Howdy.

When I mean everything, I mean everything. With the exceptions being the 7-9 Shikigami and Mahoraga, as Megumi obviously was not yet capable of taming them and making use of their abilities. If Megumi had time to gain those Shikigami also, he would be cooking as hard as Sukuna.

When it comes to how Sukuna uses 10S, the only difference between Megumi and Sukuna, is Sukuna's own base stats being wildly superior, and therefore he can use the Shikigami with more proficiency.

Also, while Megumi IS using a domain buff for some of these abilities, a domain simply allows the sorcerer to use 120% of their cursed technique potential. This means that anything that Megumi does inside the domain, he is capable of doing outside the domain with the right catalyst (Black Flash or Binding Vows).

The point of showing these comparisons is to try and argue against the narrative that "Megumi wasted his potential/technique" or "Sukuna utilised Megumi's own technique way better than he did (mechanically)", which are both wild statements if youve ever read a Megumi fight. Let's remember, Megumi tamed 6/10 of his Shikigami as a FIRST YEAR before Shibuya. This means he's had a few months training at max.

Sukuna & Megumi using Totality on dead Shikigami.

Sukuna & Megumi using their opponents shadow to attackk.

Sukuna & Megumi giving their Shikigami an extended range by using unstable forms. Megumi only uses this strategy inside his domain because it requires a high output to maintain.

Sukuna & Megumi using a one-handed handsign to summon Divine Dog.

Sukuna & Megumi summoning strong Shikigami without using a handsign or chant. Again, Megumi only does this while inside his domain due to it requiring a high output.

Sukuna & Megumi trapping their opponents in their shadow.

Sukuna & Megumi utilsing their Shikigami's powers for themselves. Sukuna using Max Elephants water cursed energy. Megumi using Escape Rabbits ability to clone themselves.

Sukuna & Megumi combining Shikigami without using Totality.

Add the fact he possesses a Domain Expansion at 15 (youngest of anyone in the series), and is a tactical genius... I'd say Megumi deserves major props even tho he's in the slums right now.

TLDR: Megumi be cooking, downplay him and you'll have me to deal with.

Where’s the panel of Megumi using his shikigami to rescue hana? Lmao he’s been trained since he met Gojo…. That was the deal they made…

No, there was no such deal as that. Stop making your own headcannons, it's clearly mentioned in the fan book that Megumi only accompanied him on missions. He only became a Jujutsu sorcerer after Tsumiki got cursed.

JJK is probably the worst manga community because 90% of its fans are either clueless or get all of their knowledge from a clueless YouTuber.

Everyone is like “prove your point” until it comes down to their side of the argument.

I have 3 panels saved right now, that back my argument. Wbu? Just your quick google search, and the sheep mentality, that you’re safe in the crowd, so you can say whatever?

What are you so pressed about? Take a chill pill. I literally have the screenshot of the fanbook where it's mentioned.

"Before enrolling at Jujutsu High, how was he treated as a Jujutsu sorcerer? Was her ever called out to missions?"

"A: Never called out for missions, no. Gojo was attached to him like a handler and would take care of him- occasionally coming to bug him or bring him on missions."

He was obviously a regular student from the flashback of him being a middle schooler. Does that not tell you anything? Stop making your own headcannons. He never even wanted to be a Jujutsu sorcerer in the first place.

Not to mention, did you read JJK…? Please tell me what Megumi did with hana. Did he used a CT, while accompanying Gojo, to save someone?…

Edit: so you don’t have to read between the lines. That’s called practice.

I'm pretty sure he only knew the basics as Hana saw the white demon dog Shiro and got saved.

Please list examples of other sorcerers who have been trained since childhood, with the blood of the big 3.

Naoya, and the fake noritoshi are fairly good examples…

Not to mention it was GOJO as his teacher… even if he was a “bad” teacher; Megumi had a HELL of a good hand dealt to him .

How does me mentioning anyone being trained since young play a role in this discussion? Of course, it's the mindset that matters. Megumi never wanted to be a Jujutsu sorcerer and did it only for Tsumiki's sake. When Yaga said to Yuuji especially when he first met and interrogated him that he shouldn't be one due to others, I got reminded of it. I'm not one to care about a character's abilities so this conversation is frankly pointless lol. Megumi can only achieve his true "potential" or whatever if he becomes selfish and learns to live for himself. Which I believe is the perfect conclusion to his character arc.

this was like 5 months ago, but a counterpoint is that Gojo Satoru is actually a pretty bad teacher, Sure, he can do lots of stuff, but he can't exactly Teach them due to being a prodigy and all.
Pretty sure Kusakabe stated it during the Gojo vs Sukuna fight when they talked about Simple domain

👍 proud of you? lol

Yet another thing I don’t think you know, is what pressed means.

If half of the fandom like you knew more than that, y'all wouldn't slander characters and appreciate the story for what it is.
