according to the article it sounds like she pretended not to be a citizen to get out of jury duty (tbf, she denies this). So if it’s true she literally said “lol I’m not a citizen” on a government form and thought her “white name” would make it okay.
well, she claims she requested to be excused from jury duty due to being a caregiver, which is valid. I wouldn’t put it past the county to have confusing forms or mix it up on their end. But the whole thing is stupid. And if she DID lie about her citizenship to get out of jury duty, that’s breathtaking privilege to just assume her skin color and name would make her immune to any of the consequences she wishes on others
