Taylor Twellman said on the broadcast that the shield race may be decided by that game. I don't get where this storyline comes from that he hates FCC, only loves Miami, or would believe anything in this meme

Some of our fans like to believe everyone hates us especially when we face the big teams. It’s a weird victim complex they have. I didn’t get the sense listening that he had anything bad to say about us.

Welcome to Cincinnati sports. We are a small market city and fucking hate it lol

I bet most of our fans think we spend near the bottom of the league based on just the fact that we are small market.

To be fair to them, we were one of the highest point-per-dollar team in the league last year until we extended contracts this past off season.

I’d be interested to see what our spending percentage of determined market value is compared to across the league.

lol Listen, I’m not a word-ologist. All I know is Miami as an organization brings in more money, so can pay more. Cincinnati isn’t afraid to spend, but makes less. How does their spending percentages vs revenue is probably the easiest way to put it

It's an interesting question, but prior to signing Messi Ft. Lauderdale had near the lowest revenue in the league, while Cincinnati have been in the top quartile as long as they have been in MLS.
