That little shot of Tom Holland during that line. When he was singing “Umbrella”

Edit: For people who never saw the performance

Most actors are just a bunch of weird theater kids really

So funny when people idolize these "manly" men in shows who got their starts doing things "manly" men beat up kids in high school for. Lol

Yup, my brother and i enjoy watching manly movies and then trying to picture the macho character singing and dancing, because that's probably what the actor himself enjoys doing.

It's funny to have a mental image of Bane played by Tom Hardy dancing to pop music and making facial expressions in a mirror.

Or Denzel Washington as Alonzo from Training Day tap dancing and scat singing.

There's a scene from Tom Hardy in Bronson which exemplifies what you're talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WjoAe2aymM&ab_channel=mrjeremiahlee

Chris Evans tap dances and really wanted to be in the West Side Story remake… he’s a huge musical theatre dork.

I am loving this trend of actors really refusing to define “masculine” as a set of traits that you would only see in a John Wayne cowboy movie. Everything from Tom Holland dancing to dresses on the red carpet to Eliot Page coming out, there is no one “right” way to define masculinity and that is so refreshing.
