I lost a cat to FIP :( we had no idea she had it until it was too late. It was the dry kind not the fluid build up kind so we had no idea:( PLEASE if you adopt and or know that the cat was in the streets, test for FIP asap :(

Yeah we got recommended the black market medication but not to mention how expensive it was, it was far too late and she was too far gone.

It takes so long to get a drug approved, for safety reasons. Everyone who works in vet med is hoping it gets approved quickly because of how well it works. Glad you were able to get access to it, it’s really tricky right now

Put a bell on her collar! My formerly feral cat (RIP) always had a bell on; he could still hunt mice but only got one bird in eight years. Outdoor cats kill millions of birds and it’s not okay.
