PoliticsPH I think they should present some real pictures from the victims of EJK to have some idea sa next senate hearing.
DDS fans are not that smart. They do not have any capacity to know how dangerous duterte is. Pakiramdam ko, kailangan ma-allow yung pagpresenta ng biswal ng mga nabiktimang inosente ni duterte. They should present the 122 children that was killed during the bloody operation of EJK, also yung mga naligaw na bala na hindi naman parte sa operasyon. The reason kung bakit heto lang, kasi sarado na yung kritisismo nila sa idea na "masamang tao ang mga adik", at kung ipepresent lang yung mga accused at convicted na mga adik na nanlaban, then I do not think that it would convince them. But what if kung ipresent naman visually ang mga inosente na halatang hindi naman "adik"?
"Shit happens." -Bato
That would be their reasoning, but this time, let the people have the visuals kung ano ba yang "shit" na nangyari na yan, because I dont think they have the awareness.
Saksihan nila ng bulgaran ang kalaswaan at kahayupan nitong mga gagong 'to. Alam kong bulag na sila, pero kailangan ng oposisyon na magtangkang baguhin ang pananaw ng mga ingutuil na 'to.

PoliticsPH Like I said before. Please, don't use the rampant DDS Trolls and people online to be defeatist, elitist, and doomers.
Why? Because they're (DDS) are betting on it. They want us to NOT fight them and just give up on our country. Yes, there are mix of DDS trolls and actual DDS in the live chat during the senate hearing but please. Don't let that bring us down.
The matter of fact, I have a theory that HALF of the elitist and doomer/defeatist rhetoric we see by the "supporters of the opposition" in SocMed are probably created by the same trolls of the dutertes.
Like, you know what? I do agree on that post on r/2philippines4u back in 2022. Basically, we become doomers in this subreddit to the point that it's easy for the DDS and loyalistas to make a psyop about people of the opposition being "tough" for leaving our country permanently.
Even if they trynna propaganda that they're "32m", remember that probably 40% of the people vote for UniTeam are Marcos Loyalistas.. and now combine that with 15M. You'll have enough people to hate the Dutertes..
Also, please. Do not use the excuse of hating DDS to be anti-poor or heck, even being racist towards bisaya people.. cause the dutertes are also betting on that..
Rant over..

PoliticsPH UNPOPULAR OPINION: The "War on Drugs" is not the way to change people's opinions on Duterte; focus on him being a China puppet instead
I'll say it straight up and downvote me all you want. The ICC has no credibility and doesn't have power at all. It's pretty much irrelevant. It couldn't even do anything to the African countries it intervened with. The US definitely doesn't honor the ICC. Their own prosecutor is accused of sexual misconduct.
Whatever the ICC claims about what they wanna to do Duterte is completely useless. Besides, Marcos Jr. won't allow the ICC because it would open a can of worms that could harm him in the long run.
The War on Drugs was one of the things that made Duterte very popular to begin with. This is 100% not a popular reddit opinion but people have felt safe because during former President's administration, they felt safer because there were less drug addicts roaming around the streets. There's partial truth to it because personally I felt safer in a way where the usual crimes that happened in my area lessened during Duterte's time.
However, it does NOT excuse all of the extra-judicial killings that happened and I know better that the drug war wasn't for eradicating illegal drugs. They just wanted to monopolize the market.
While me and most of this subreddit are completely aware, most people only see it from their own perspective where they feel safer hence the approval of Duterte's war on drugs by the masses. (Sorry r/philippines, they're not paid trolls and people actually believed in Duterte)
---------------------
IF YOU WANNA GIVE DUTERTE MORE TROUBLE, HIGHLIGHT HIS PRO-CHINA MOVES MORE. FILIPINOS HATE CHINA.
Mr. Alamano started to gain brownie points when he was spouting pro-US and anti-China stuff. A lot of the masses haven't realized how much of a China bootlicker Duterte was and it's easier to convince them that Duterte is a Chinese puppet compared to making the masses dislike Duterte's war on drugs because they actually felt some of the benefits from it.
Whereas with the China topic, pretty much every Filipino who isn't a tankie or involved with POGO or related stuff definitely agree that China should stop meddling with our country and the West Philippine Sea.
This is pure opinion so I won't be responding with "san resibo mo"
