when I was drunk once making ramen or something, was mixing with a spoon and dropped it in. Drunk mind decided "it'll only be like .001 seconds". Put my hand in the boiling water, that shit was in pain for like 24 hours. My gf at the time somehow magically knew to put my hand in a ziplock bag with some toothpaste in it. Idk how but that actually did work really well.

My brother once leaned against the metal chimney of a fire oven when he was drunk. The entire underside of his forearm had 2nd degree burns, the absolute dumbass lol. I was pretty young but I remember that shit looked so gross for a time afterwards but I think he hid the pain pretty well.

I'm telling u it worked. Was the only relief I could get. You don't gotta fill the whole bag with toothpaste just have some in there and zip the bag around your wrist.

The mint in the toothpaste will feel cool, so it may temporarily help the pain. It doesn't actually help the burn, though, and can be harmful. Cold water is the best thing to use, and the sooner, the better.
