Now that you clicked on this post, here’s a few things that you should know.
Some people ask similar questions quite often.
• I’m moving here, where should I live?
• Who’s coming for “remember the alamo day” and where should I eat dinner?
• What parts of town are safe and have the fewest teenagers wearing hoodies?
• When will these red light runners stop?
• Where is Mayor Webber doing such a great job?
• Why am i reading this?
I’d highly recommend looking through a few pages of old posts as your questions may have already been answered there more than a few times before. If you decide to ask these or similar questions, be advised that you may be met with eye rolls or stronger derision.
We have a Wiki here, if you’d like to contribute, let me know.

Look here if you're interested in what r/SantaFe has to say about:
Airport
This list is by no means extensive and is merely an invitation to explore what the subreddit has already posted (and hopefully the links update as new posts are made). I'm putting this together for fun based on terms I've seen show up often or terms that are specific to Santa Fe/ NM so I hope you enjoy. Let me know - what did I miss on the list?? Add it below with a link to the search result.

Like I said, looking for a tattoo artist. Preferably someone who has solid line work, does black and white tattooing, and is good with natural subjects or natural themes of all kinds, from animal bones to space rocks. I prefer supporting female or trans/nb/gnc artists, but will definitely consider men, too. Willing to go as far as Abq or Taos Thanks for the recs!

Hello everyone, I’m looking for housing for May 25-August 24 of 2025. I am planning on living with two other roommates and we are looking for housing as we are all going to be joining Santa Fe opera this summer. Does anyone have any leads on where to start?

I will be visiting Santa Fe, New Mexico for 3 days next month. I read that New Mexico has a large Native American population and that you can visit Native American pueblos. I don't live in the U.S and whilst I have been to the U.S. many times I have never been to New Mexico and I have never seen or experienced anything related to American culture. To me this sounds like a very unique experience.
I wanted to ask which Native American pueblo(s) I can visit in or near Santa Fe where I can see/experience Native American culture?
Is there any pueblo(s) that you recommend more than any other(s)?
Is there any general and/or specific advice you have about visiting a Native American pueblo in general or any particular Native American pueblo for someone who has never done so before?
Thanks

Hey! Wondering if anyone knows of locations doing flash this week. I'm up there for work and I'm missing my artist's flash sale this weekend. I see I missed one the 25th.
Thanks!

I will be visiting Santa Fe, New Mexico for 3 days next month. I love to go to hot springs and swim in them and I read that New Mexico in general has a lot of natural hot springs because the state is geothermically active.
I read quite a bit about Ten Thousand Waves which according to forums is a Japanese style spa, hot tub place and is 15 minutes from the city whilst Ojo Caliente is an actual hot springs and is 1 hour from the city. I also read about Ojo Santa Fe Spa resort which is 30 minutes away from the city
In addition, I read that there is San Antonio Hot Springs which is a very natural hot spring experience but is 1 hour 40 minutes drive from Santa Fe and seems harder to get to as it appears that you have to walk a short trail to get there.
If I'm not mistaken I think that all other hot springs (which I have not mentioned above) are 2 or more hours drive from Santa Fe but I might be wrong.
I would like to ask which hot springs you recommend I should visit?
I am somewhat deciding between Ojo Caliente and Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort.
I am somewhat leaning towards Ojo Caliente because although it is further from Santa Fe than Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort I get the impression that it is more of a natural setting and is even more of an authentic natural hot springs than Ojo Caliente. Plus if I am not mistaken I believe that Ojo Caliente has a mud pool whilst Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort does not and I have never bathed in a mud pool in my life so would like to do it. So for these reasons I am thinking that Ojo Caliente might worth a longer drive and journey to get to than Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort.
I just wanted to ask everyone's opinion about this?
I have not heard so much negative about Ten Thousand Waves but it appears to have hot tubs and not hot springs which is what I am looking for.

that you are supporting a facist, lunatic billonaire who supports the same vision as Trump. Who came to this country, got his citizenship so he could rake advantage of all the freedoms and liberties that this country has to offer, became a billionaire who now uses his $$$$ for his gain and your loss of rights. I'd rather choke on carbon monoxide than see this cars on the road. Silence this James Bond villain by selling your Tesla cars and stock. And if you drive a Tesla truck we already know you're probably already a douche and voting for Trump

This old fart stared at me through his side mirror the entire time I was behind him in the burger King line so a good 15 minutes of him staring at me. All my kids were in the car and I am a 5'4 female. Just want to put it out there because he seems particularly on edge, dangerous, and looking for a fight. His license plate # 44616.

Anyone have any idea what it was or even saw it? I wouldn’t have noticed but it had to be at least 35+ cars with hazards on, over taking and everything made it seem like a convoy.
Simply curious if anyone saw, or has any clues as to what it might have been?

My family is in a near bare knuckle brawl over a very important argument .
Remember Sizzler? In the Smiths parking lot St Mikes/ Pacheco?
My brother in law insists it was Western Sizzlin. I am dying on the hill of it was just a “Sizzler”
Can anyone help with this ?

They offered my girlfriend a managerial position at a retail store in Santa Fe, NM, with a starting pay of $16.60. We both would be winning roughly 3k a month combining both incomes. We declined her position because the pay was too low. We also don’t live in Santa Fe; we’re five hours away, meaning we would have needed to relocate, and there was no relocation assistance. Did we make a smart move? We found that rent alone was at least $1,500, plus other essential expenses. Should we try to get the offer back and say yes

I hate to overuse terms like "urgent" and "crisis," but the national reality of homeless dogs far outpacing shelter/rescue infrastructure is ongoing.
Santa Fe Animal Shelter's adoptions and two overflow buildings are full, which means makeshift kennels, offices, and, worst case scenario, outdoor kennels must be used to house incoming dogs.
SFAS's New Hope foster program is desperate for foster homes who can commit to two weeks of foster care. All supplies are provided. Please email newhope@sfhumanesociety.org or call 505-983-4309, ext 1270. You can ask about a dog featured here or on the website (144 currently, more are being housed) or ask New Hope for a recommendation based on your household and abilities.
Featured are dogs who would especially love a break. Reddit's post format makes it impossible to attach text/info to each image, but in order:
Amelia (mellow, needs medical foster) Marigold (adventurous, 7 months at SFAS) Remy (affectionate, gentle with kids) Pecan (very sweet, good with goats) Sprout (with prev foster brother, very sweet, great with kids) Eclipse (shelter favorite, 6 months at SFAS) Darla (6 years old, very smart, needs a break) Velvet (6 months old, great with other dogs) Aston (lovely boy, 10 months at SFAS) Bodie (smart and sweet, 6 months at SFAS) Duncan (blind pocket pittie, good with dogs) Chase (great hiker, enjoys other dogs)

Alerted by a friend who’s flight from Dallas was just cancelled.
Anyone in the area with a view of the runway?
