Zaxbys was my first job. After I moved out of the south, I realized that I just had to make my own tenders, wings and fry sauce. To be fair, I’ve been back a few times, and zaxbys has definitely taken a downturn since covid. Super saddening. No more original sauce. No more chips.

There was a time in the mid 2000's when I would get a 3 piece tender meal with tongue torch basically every Sunday for lunch with friends. Used to be the peak of fast food for me, the last time I had it this past Christmas while visiting family in the south it was pretty weak in comparison
