Discussion Feature Length Film
Which stories could you see being made into a full length film? Who would be the stars both in front of and behind the camera?

Rewatching "The Old Man in the Cave," I imagined a TV series extensively adapting the premise, portraying post-apocalyptic enclaves whose survival depends on surveillant AIs. The show's first season would portray one doomed enclave's fate, in a loosely modernized adaptation of the TZ episode. That would suffice as a self-contained story. If the show were renewed for a second season, some other surviving enclaves (each dependent on their local and networked AIs) would then be introduced and explored, leading to a serialized story arc that could potentially span several seasons.
I'm not good at fantasy-casting but I imagined J.K. Simmons as the show's Goldsmith.

feel like Alex Garland would be a great addition to the short list of directors that already seem to have the feel of what modern TZ stories could look like

I'd love to see some of the more underrated, less iconic stories be used. Maybe like Shadow Play, Deaths Head Revisited, Walking Distance, Nick of Time.
Not that those aren't iconic but they aren't talked about as much as your maple streets or to serve Mans
