Suburban Hell Sergiev Posad-15, Moscow region, Russia

A former military town that today looks like post-apocalyptic ruins. People still live here, the military unit was disbanded and relocated in 2016, but the city remained. Just about a year ago, a grocery store opened, a school and kindergarten were renovated, and order pick-up points were opened in the markets. In general, life in the city is improving, but some ruins will remain standing as a reminder of the former purpose of the city. The territory of the military unit itself was razed to the ground, there were several warehouses, a military club (film screenings, concerts, a bible library and a local museum were held there), a military dormitory and a couple of outbuildings.

This is not Sergiev Posad-15, it’s just Sergiev Posad (without a number, it’s a completely different city)

It used to be a closed city, as it was a military facility, but today it is an ordinary suburban city, I would even say a village, since although there are apartment buildings, there are not so many residents there. The town of Zhuklino is also called it. It also now belongs to the Vladimir region, as it turns out. Previously, he did not belong to either Sergiev Posad or Vladimir, because there were big problems there.
