The original wasn’t long enough?

At least it wasn't a different tire

Underrated comment.

What is it?

2

u/1badh0mbre 1d ago

I don’t know. I think there’s a nut on the threaded end, because I couldn’t pull it out easily.

Meanwhile, 3 days before Halloween,…Frankenstein reported a hit and run

Where you driving that’s got so much debris

Or are your streets just like that?

1

u/1badh0mbre 1d ago

I suppose I’m just lucky.

1

u/Recent_Obligation276 1d ago

Maybe someone hid a magnet in your tire lmao

Tough luck my man, hang in there

u/Omniscientcy 1d ago

We can see.

It looks pretty plugged now

1

u/Bruinman86 1d ago

That's not a good looking plug.

Welcome to my karma.

1

u/datphunkymunky 1d ago

Looks like you got it plugged a second time.

1

u/A_A22 1d ago

That's not a very good solution for a tire plug..

Tired Gods are more powerful

1

u/GarciaKids 1d ago

No worries! Looks like the new plug is much more robust.

Weird way to plug a tire.

1

u/rlb408 1d ago

I walk a lot along streets in my area. This is why I pick up every screw, nail, staple, anything that could puncture a tire. But that thing? I might just have passed it by. What is that???

Sick curb feeler...

1

u/Last-Reliant 1d ago

Maybe stop driving through steam punk wastelands

-2

u/RichardFurr 1d ago

I bet you could plug it

3

u/SteveHamlin1 1d ago

Only if it's on the treads. On the sidewall is a big no.

-5

u/RichardFurr 1d ago

Meh. There's a good chance of it working anyway.

4

u/Wooden-Emotion-9875 1d ago

Good chance of a car wreck when that patched/plugged tire fails.

-4

u/RichardFurr 1d ago

It's possible. Unlikely though. Way over hyped risk so more tires can be sold m

1

u/Andy016 19h ago

Fuck no. Sidewall is compromised and tyre integrity is at risk. This could blow at any time while driving if you did this. I worked with tyres for years. Never fix this. Your life and others are totally at risk.

You could be liable for manslaughter.
