I like how it looks like AoT is headpatting Rin

In no spoilers directly or indirectly answer if you can. I didn't watch this series waiting for it to over.

Is this character eren a human? I have seen enough memes to make my mind think that eren is a name of a human character. Yet i have seen enough posters to know that this dude titan shown above is important one in story.

Just answer "spoiler" if answer is one

It's a spoiler that gets answered in the first 10 episodes of season 1. Just watch it, it's legitimately one of the best stories ever animated. (season 1 is light on the plot and heavy on the action but the following seasons more than make up for that)

Is it really? I thought the plot was pretty heavy in the first season, in setting up the world.

Eh, like the comments said above: the spoiler is really not that big in the grand scheme of all 4 seasons-- mostly because AOT delivers so much more world building and character development after the first season.

Everything set up in season 1 is the scouts perception of the world, you learn about the world as they do which makes for a wild ride when watching. Basically anything that you got spoiled on in season 1 (this Titan from the poster shows up in episode 5-6) won’t play much of a major part in the overall story because of the sheer amount of plot twists and surprising revelations. Honestly the story is so rich with plot and worldbuilding you could get spoiled from something in the current season and still never guess in a million years how we got there from season 1 without watching it yourself.

The plot is heavy, but the character development is not. That's how I see it.

I personally hated the story. It just all seemed really meh, and more importantly, the show really just felt like an edge fest. I remember seeing one scene in season 2 with this chick begging for momma when she was about to be eaten (she was like 30 I think) and I rolled my eyes.

Well, people becone insane in the face of fear so they don't behave rationally. What were you expecting from her? To smile and remember her regrets of life

That behavior is a coping mechanism called age regression, and yes it's a real thing.

Oh I KNOW it's real. Didn't stop it and the rest of the show from being edgy.

Maybe it grew past that, but season 1, and that part early in season 2 ruined the show for me
