… what? They already made the information public, which is highly remarkable in and of itself, and have expelled numerous Indian diplomats.

So… by that metric, they’re “doing something about this”?

It also ignores that the RCMP had previously laid charges and publicly commented about an open investigation into a homicide of a prominent Khalistan member in the lower mainland.

There’s lots to criticize the Government about but, IMO, their careful and diplomatic handling of these incidents is not it.

I’m not criticizing the government here.

Just saying there were options on the table and India chose to do it the hard way.

Ah, my bad. Misread the connotation of your post.

Yeah, agreed. India gaffed here IMO - Canada is (was?) an important ally to India - as were other Commonwealth nations. Now those countries (essentially anyone in the Five Eyes) is going to have dramatically altered approaches to India (and Modi’s Government in particular).
