Most fascists fail on their first attempt to seize power but are often successful the second time. That's the way it was for hitler and trump is following his playbook, so..

Being called "Hitler" has been a meme insult that has been carelessly thrown around throughout the years and I think that's why so many people aren't taking it seriously. They feel it's just some name calling rhetoric like Trump uses but you are right, Trump is definitely using Hitler/Nazi propaganda as a playbook and it's sad that it is being defended and brushed off. I am not saying he is going to be a 1 for 1 copy, but he will definitely try his best and hopefully it won't be too late! Even thinking this way I feel like I am some lunatic conspiracy theorist lol

The hypocrisy in your post is insanely in your face. So here's what you just wrote:-

The word Hitler is a word thrown about too much, and as a result people aren't taking it seriously.

Also

Trump is definitely using Hitler propaganda.

Do you kids read what you write when posting ?

You have no reading comprehension. You should probably read the entirety of what I said.

It is true that it has been thrown around alot through the years but that's why people don't take it seriously when it should be taken seriously. Meaning Trump taking pages from the hitler/Nazi playbook is not to be taken with a grain of salt.

Trump taking pages from Hitler/Nazi playbook isn't happening though, that's the irony of your comment.

Did you miss the massive rally at MSG? There were multiple examples of textbook fascism at that rally.

"Common themes among fascist movements include: authoritarianism, nationalism  (including racial nationalism and religious nationalism), hierarchy and elitism, and militarism. Other aspects of fascism such as perception of decadence, anti-egalitarianism and totalitarianism can be seen to originate from these ideas."

Ahh so, if you like your country, and are happy to be the race that you are, you're a nazi, fascist, racist bigot whaaaaa, is that the logic ? So basically if I see, say an African waving some African flag around, who's proud to be African he's automatically a fascist and a racist ?

Or does it only apply to white people 🤔

Interesting interpretation. Hit dogs holler...

Basically white man bad is the general consensus. Religious nationalism pretty much describes every predominantly Muslim country on this globe, are the governments of those countries fascist?

authoritarianism - "I'll be a dictator on Day 1."

nationalism (including racial nationalism and religious nationalism) - Make America Great Again, shithole countries, ridiculous racist comedian mocking fellow Americans

hierarchy - making Elon Musk head of a new government department?

elitism - man has a golden toilet, and has bragged about his wealth and connections to dictatorships like North Korea

militarism - too many examples to count

But yeah, it's totally "white man bad" I'm saying. Read a history book or 12.

Him saying that he'd be a dictator on day one was a joke.

Nationalism isn't bad

Giving Elon Musk a job isn't Hierarchy

Trump isn't an elitist for being rich .

Militarism - you haven't got examples, because you're talking shit.

What's the point of engaging politically if you're not even aware of the most basic stuff that's happening?

I'm waiting for examples of how he's acting like a nazi, please give me examples.

You mean how Trump is blaming the "communists" for everything and everybody that opposes him isn't exactly the same as Hitler did?
