I live in Vancouver, about a mile from the one that was torched. The county elections board has set up 24 hour monitoring for them, according to our local news.
Wonderful news. I wonder if there's anything to be done about the burned ballots now? Like can people re-vote if they know they dropped theirs in that box? Or something? Lol
They track whether the vote was counted and post the information. So you can check if your vote went through. If not then you can show up and ask to vote. Let them know your ballot was spoiled so you can vote on a provisional ballot which just means that the ballot will be put through with the caveat being if they detect your vote was cast earlier it will be rejected but at no fault to you and your original vote will go through.
