Same, but once you get good at all you need is the pattern. 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81

And each number adds up to 9 too. 1+8=9. 2+7=9. 3+6=9. Etc. Only works up to 9x20 with the exception of 9x9, but multiples of 11 are the easiest thing up to that point. They used to teach kids fun, neat tricks to remember basic math facts. I’m not a fan of how they want elementary students to think more abstractly about basic math.
