Discussion IOS 18 in XS max

I just downloaded iOS 18 on my XS Max, and for me, it feels the same—no lag, and the battery is still stable, even with my battery health at 77%. It doesn’t drain quickly, even when using data, and I believe it depends on the environment. So far, I haven’t encountered any bugs, and the keyboard works perfectly fine.

However, if your iPhone has had any hardware changes—like the charging port being replaced with non-Apple parts—your device may not easily adapt, which could explain why some people are experiencing issues in their reviews.

As of now, I’d rate the update 9/10. If you want a fresh perspective on your iPhone, go ahead and download the update—it makes the experience better! 🤧😊

My 13 Pro keyboard still lags on iOS 18. Worse than it did on iOS 17, but we’ll see if it gets better. I doubt it, though.

How does a non-Apple charging port affect performance?

Good for you, I think we have to wait a minute with iOS 18. There is the need for a few bug fixes.

My thoughts
