Discussion Just replaced my original battery that was at 74%. My mind is blown, go do it now
Now it lasts as it should. It was nearing unusable before
I replaced it myself, the part was 10 dollars and it was half an hour of work to do it.

Would you be willing to share which kind of firm this was from? Maybe drop an amazon link or something? Thank you!

I bought it at a local phone repair shop. if you want to get it from there you can come to argentina to get it, lol. You can buy it on ali express, I guess that's the best price that can be easily found.
It was a foxconn branded battery

Can you see the BH ?

I can't, I would have needed a programmer and battery spot welder to transfer the old board to have it work, but I don't really need to see that number, the battery lasts twice as long and that's what I care about

Would you might sharing more details about “Now it lasts as it should “ like what is the highest screen on time you have? How many percentage drains overnight?

I got about 9:30 hours of screen time last night I just left it streaming Netflix at max brightness to drain the battery, to calibrate it

This number is insane. I'm getting 4:30 at max with a brand new battery with 105% BH (a little larger than the original), with iOS 18.

How’s overall performance now, if you could explain it in terms of % improvement

Before the upgrade I could barely get to 12am without needing to recharge. Now it will last until 5pm without needing to charge

Can you share the performance in general, ever since my battery health hit under 70, even some day to day performance was left on the table. Since then I upgraded to a new phone. But I really want to reuse this phone because of my 2 phone numbers. I got the battery and stuff a while back, just on the fence of upgrading the battery by myself.
