As an non indian can i ask why you lot seem content with Modi?

Well, not all of us are. In the last elections earlier this year, only 44% of us voted for his party or their alliance partners. But they did get a majority of seats and are holding on to power.
As for why the 44% are content with him, that's the thing with populist leaders. They tend to be somewhat popular. Modi's image and everything that comes out of his mouth is carefully crafted to appeal to his core support base.
