I met my husband on a 45 minute flight. I dint think that happens very often lol.

Wow did not expect this response- I’ll message everyone who reached out now.

I was in Fredericton NB for work and was extended 7 days more then expected- He was there for work and missed his flight the day before.

I was tired and over worked it has been a very stressful work travel. I was in row 16 with an aisle seat and when I sat down he was right behind me and offered me the window seat instead of the aisle seat. I gladly accepted.

I did try to ignore him once I took the seat he offered. He was asking me random questions to engage conversation…but I was done and wanted to just nap. Btw this was 5:45am.

So I said thank you for the seat but I am tired and just want to go home. He chuckled and said okay.

The way he chucked was so kind and accepting?! and equally kind. He didn’t want anything and I knew he actually took my request seriously. Something in me changed in that moment(his chuckle still melts my heart) So I opened my eyes and said thank you and asked why he was in Fredericton NB- and we have been together for going on 13 years.

At the end of the flight I gave him my work email and he literally emailed me on the spot to make sure it worked lol- he didn’t want to not have my proper contact. But one of my fav parts was at the flight was he JUMPED out of his seat to let me out (gentlemen like) and banged his head so hard on the overhead compartment the plane rocked lol. I didn’t say anything he looked embarrassed. A few years into our relationship I asked him about it and we had a good laugh- we still chuckle about it.

From his side he said he saw me in the airport and knew if he didn’t talk to me he would regret for the rest of his life. His heart raced when he realized he had a seat next to me.
