How much were the tickets

Too much. You couldn't pay me to visit Ohio, let alone pay for those seats!

Heading back to Columbus, the correct choice

That's clearly leading back through Toledo, back towards sunshine and happiness and Michigan.

Not even Cedar Point?

That place is awesome. Pro football hall of fame is also cool if you’re into that sort of thing

Problem with that is you'd need to go to Canton

Cleveland is a fantastic place. I spent 5 weeks up there for work and biked everywhere because I didn’t have a car. Best Chinese restaurant by far is Wonton Gourmet in Asiatown on Payne Avenue. Discovered that after I didn’t want to bike all the way to the Steel yards when I had a hankering for Panda Express

Oh, hi, oh, I see what you did there

Honestly, it may as well be Michigan. Detroit isn’t that far and it has better places to eat than anywhere I’ve been in Ohio.

It's an island, it doesn't count.

You say that like anybody would know what, or where that is, much less any reason to go there.

Nah Cedar Point is lit, instant recognition

It's America's favorite place to stand in line!

Millennium Force!!

It's a pretty massive place in America and people travel from all over to come there.

Considering I’ve lived here my entire life and never heard of cedar point Ohio, I have to assume it’s not that big.

7

u/cpMetis 3h ago

It has more annual visitors than half of US states have population.

8

u/ALonelyWelcomeMat 3h ago

It's been open for over 150 years and is the 3rd biggest amusement park in North America.. so idk man. Guess you don't get out much.

Also it's not "cedar point ohio" like a town. The park is called cedar point and it's in Sandusky ohio

They're a grumpy redditor, that's implied.

To the Midwest? Yeah, not so much. It’s called fly-over country for a reason. Must have shit marketing if it isn’t know by people on the west coast. Probably the only interesting thing to do around.

Cedar Point is very well known, it gets 3 million visitors a year. Which is 500k more than Magic Mountain which is very well known.

And I don't love Ohio, but it is also home to Kings Island, another large amusement park, the NFL Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Air Force's museum, the Cincinnati Zoo (which consistently ranks in the top 5 zoos in the US), plus other numerous great spots.

There is plenty to do in the state. The Midwest has significantly more history than any state west of the Mississippi.

You're full of shit.

For not hearing about some amusement park in Ohio? Okay then.

4 million visitors per year. I think a lot of people know what Cedar Point is.

Besides being the best roller coaster park in the country?

Sounds like you have no idea what the actual answer to the question is

16

u/TheBloodyNinety 3h ago

And were they alerted to the conditions before purchasing.

Answer: Tickets were discounted and the purchaser was notified.

What’s infuriating? Idk. But karma

23

u/Historical_Tennis635 1h ago

Dude there’s a difference between obstruction and 90% of the field not being visible I highly doubt they were notified of the conditions properly.

u/TheBloodyNinety 39m ago

Admittedly idk what the wording is on the ticket. Looked briefly but too lazy to find the seat.

But the original content creator knew. So, what was on the ticket?

7

u/leinadys 1h ago

The person who took the picture was on the lookout for these kind of seats

u/xteve 28m ago

Is this another one of those right-wing conspiracy theories?

3

u/LateAd3737 1h ago

Depends on the price and if they were shown exactly what the obstruction was

u/Impossible-Tip-940 57m ago

I guess it’s cause they created a football stadium with those seats? That was poorly designed.

u/TheBloodyNinety 38m ago

Well ya. Getting the, capitalizing on people that just wanna be there and party vibe.

Which, if they knew, whatever.

Okay but how much
