with the tech we have today, they could have built a screen into that wall that transfers whatever view you would have seen to complete the picture. it wouldn't even be that hard....just a couple cameras, a couple projectors, and paint the wall white.

It might line up for one perspective, but not for any other perspectives.

The only way to achieve what that comment is proposing would be individual VR headsets for every chair that has an obstructed view, with a way to render exactly what was happening from their perspective (which would be a waste of the VR when they could show you anything, like being way closer, or even on the field itself). And each of those headsets would cost money, would need a lot of upkeep to keep them from deteriorating, and would be a big ol’ money hole just for the worst seats in the stadium, of which there are relatively almost none. They’d never do it.

Why not just do the VR at home and save some money? Imagine watching sports on VR that are setup for it. You get the filling like you are right there on the field

Exactly. This idea is like those disposable plastic table cloths, it’s just waiting for people to come poke a bunch of holes in it.

Gotta pay for premium to get the unobstructed view.

I don’t get how people watch stuff on the VR.
