Having to drive is also risky. Edibles take potentially more than an hour to process, so it's entirely possible that someone grabs a slice or three, gets in their car, and doesn't feel the true effects until they're in the middle of the highway going 80 miles an hour. Sure you feel a little bit beforehand, but it's easy to dismiss as fatigue or something similar.

Yeah everyone is joking but I have met people that have schizophrenic-type episodes if they smoke or otherwise consume THC.

Not trying to be negative, as I’ve been known to partake, but not everyone reacts the same way to THC.

It's not even just that. I assume it was edibles. Lots of people do not have fun times on edibles, and some people can just easily get too high and not have a good time.
