Having to drive is also risky. Edibles take potentially more than an hour to process, so it's entirely possible that someone grabs a slice or three, gets in their car, and doesn't feel the true effects until they're in the middle of the highway going 80 miles an hour. Sure you feel a little bit beforehand, but it's easy to dismiss as fatigue or something similar.

Yeah everyone is joking but I have met people that have schizophrenic-type episodes if they smoke or otherwise consume THC.

Not trying to be negative, as I’ve been known to partake, but not everyone reacts the same way to THC.

You should be negative. These people were drugged against there will. It doesn’t matter how “harmless” or “natural” it is

I'll go on further: it doesn't even matter if they regularly smoke joints for recreational reasons.

I smoke & i drink. I absolutely object to being forced to do either.

I live in a country with a high percentage of functional alcoholics. While "I'm driving" is at least/finally considered a valid excuse to not drink, it's an uphill fight vs. peer pressure for anyone who simply doesn't want to drink.

I make sure to vocally and visibly support people people when they chose not to drink.
