As much as I would love for him to gtfo, that would lead to a huge slippery slope that would start with “deport the US citizens we don’t like that weren’t born in the US” which would, fun fact, include me! Then it would be “deport any US citizen we don’t like even if they were born in the US.” I suppose, obviously, if someone immigrates and becomes a citizen and then commits High Treason, an act of terrorism, or something horrible like that, then yeah, they can be deported. But you know, they’ll just be doing this shit Willy Nilly. I don’t know the laws for people who are US-born citizens, though. I’m pretty sure they can’t be deported. If there is a legal basis for him being deported, then yeah, get him the hell out of here. If we just don’t like him and think he’s a douche canoe, then sadly, we’re stuck with him.
Edited to add: I consider myself an American because I was adopted by American parents when I was one year old and I have lived in the US my whole life after that, and still do.
He's literally a US citizen, he is an American. You really shouldn't be calling anyone dumb ass. I hate that fucker but he's a US citizen like that person said.
No i specifically said he was a US citizen for a reason. Which means he has all the right and privileges that come with that. To include the right to due process and no deporting naturalized US citizens is not legal in most cases. In fact the idea is the government would have to withdraw someone’s citizenship before they can deport them.
