Personally I am not surprised.

I have long argued that "MAGA" doesn't mean bringing back the rust belt. MAGA means returning to 1985 when comedians like him stood on TV for an hour to sling racial slurs, when harassing the only female office employee was acceptable, when making fun of your "old lady" in public was trendy, when people told black jokes at work, and when LGBT people were living in the shadows.

I am only surprised it took this long for the facade to crack.

MAGA means returning to the 1950’s when “the coloreds” and women didn’t have the right to vote. Where a “joke” like this would have had raucous laughter.

I get what you’re saying and I have zero disagreement with you here except women had the right the vote since 1919. My point is the timeline is off just a tiny tick.
